Hire Terms and Conditions
Drivers should be over the age of 21 for car hire and over the age of 25 for van hire.
A full driving licence must have been held for at least 2 years and MUST be produced at time of rental. New style photo licences must be accompanied by the counterpart section.
Prices are subject to VAT @ 17.5%. Rates are inclusive of insurance.
There is no mileage charge.
NO CAR MAY BE TAKEN OFF THE ISLANDS OF LEWIS AND HARRIS UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.
Credit Card details must be given at time of hire. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch and Solo. Other payment methods are Cash and Cheque.
In most cases this is available, provided that our office is informed prior to expiry of the agreed rental period and the additional deposit paid, so that the Insurance Cover can be extended. Failure to do so may mean that you continue to drive without the necessary insurance cover which could lead to prosecution.
All cars are comprehensive covered. The Renter is liable for the first £250 of any loss or damage to the vehicle, otherwise known as an excess.
The booking is made on the understanding that the vehicle will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible, through circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a substitute vehicle, where possible, or a refund of monies.
